Episode 66: Katrina Rolle
Host Dave Fiore speaks with Katrina Rolle, president and CEO of the Community Foundation of North Florida. From her days as a varsity cheerleader and student government president at Miami Carol City High School to continuing her family legacy at Tuskegee University and working her way through the University of Florida Law School, even though it was against the rules, Katrina has always found a way to get things done.
She dreamed of owning a business at age 14 while working at Burger King and gained valuable experience as a cost accountant with Honeywell and as a supervisor with Florida Power and Light. But it was her 11 years staying at home with her children and volunteering in the community that led to offers to be CEO of The United Way of the Big Bend and most recently the Community Foundation.
Katrina, and her husband, Dr. Gary Rolle, were reluctant transfers to Tallahassee, but are now grateful to have invested their lives in the community where they raised their children and are proud to call home.
