Episode 16: Talethia Edwards
In this episode, host Dave Fiore speaks with Talethia Edwards, the founder and president of the Greater Bond Neighborhood Association who has already secured more than $6 million for community revitalization. The Miami native came to Tallahassee as a freshman at Florida A&M University where she met her husband Harold. The couple has seven children and are currently caring for two more they hope to formally adopt in the near future.
Talethia simply knows how to influence people and get things done. She has won numerus community and leadership awards, sits on influential boards and still finds time to volunteer at her kids’ schools. She has learned to apply her superpowers as a mom to business and advocacy and is making a real difference that will be felt for years to come.
We also want to let you know about a community-wide effort to help the Edwards family renovate their home and add much-needed space through a GoFundMe account set up by Tallahassee Chamber Chair and Capital City Bank Co-COO Beth Corum. Please check it out.
