About Barineau

The Barineau family has been a trusted name in North Florida and South Georgia for more than 50 years. Representing three generations in the HVAC industry, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering quality, dependable home comfort systems with integrity, ingenuity and treating customers like family.

Less than 10 years earlier, Barineau effectively rebranded the company and wanted to maintain the foundational elements of that campaign, but needed help to refresh the concepts and continue building momentum to reach new audiences. Barineau partnered with Fiore Communications in 2012 to lead that change and take their existing branding in new directions while preserving its family legacy and strong community reputation.

Goals

  • Barineau wanted a creative “next step” to the “Barry Knows Cool” legacy, with a fresh emphasis on the company name that would increase brand awareness and also be relatable to a new audience that was unfamiliar with the original Barry marketing campaigns. The company also needed a substantial refresh of all marketing efforts, both digital and traditional, to support Barineau’s growth and revenue goals.

Our Solution

Fiore Communications developed a multi-channel strategy that included:

  • Branding and Media: We launched a series of campaigns over the years building on the Barineau “B” as the branding focus. These included the first “Be the Cool House” TV and video advertising series that was followed by “Be Together” and the current “We Will Always B There For You” concept that has been adapted multiple times to extend its creative life and branding momentum. These commercials were supported with radio, print and digital ad campaigns.
  • Website: We developed a new Barineau website that created a user experience similar to using a phone app. The information visitors wanted most — buttons for Repair, Installation and Maintenance were front and center. We also created easier options to book appointments and pay bills online. The site includes a robust news section with interactive articles to increase customer knowledge and drive website traffic.
  • Email and Social Media: To build customer relationships, we developed engaging email newsletters (evolving in style, purpose and execution over time), automated email campaigns that have dramatically increased positive Google reviews and social media management that included strategic posts, monitoring conversations and online engagement that builds trust and loyalty.
  • Advertising: We developed targeted digital advertising campaigns customized for all major platforms to break through the noise of an extremely competitive industry. Ads supported campaigns and provided consistent access to highly searched HVAC keywords. We also developed ads to highlight the company’s longtime commitment to supporting local high school and collegiate athletics.
