When people talk to your child in a baby voice, but really they’re saying something judgmental directed at you. For example, “Oh your little feet are so cold! Why doesn’t your Mommy put socks on you?”
Must-Have Desk Accessory:
All my desk buddies! I have pictures of family, Adventure Time figurines, stone animals from the zoo and a framed picture of GIR from Invader Zim that I embroidered.
Least Favorite Animal:
Lizards, snakes and eels. (Oh my!)
When Not in the Office…
Spending time with my family outside. We’ll go for a walk or run around in the backyard.
Liz Laffitte can’t remember when she fell in love with grammar, but the little boy whose love letter she returned, with corrections marked in red pen, probably can. While she’s not quite as harsh of an editor today, her love of reading, writing and editing has only grown.
Liz graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus in Editing, Writing, and Media. She previously served as an editorial intern for Rowland Publishing where she contributed feature articles and other content for Tallahassee and Emerald Coast magazines.
As a digital marketing strategist for Fiore Communications, Liz helps create, implement and monitor social media marketing, email marketing, website management and organic and paid SEO strategies for our clients.
Liz is married and welcomed her first son in November 2016. In her free time, she enjoys teaching herself web development and different programming languages.
