Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dave Fiore’s first byline came in the seventh grade when his English teacher surprised him by publishing his book report on “The Call of the Wild” in the school paper. A love of writing was born that year, as was an attachment to light blue corduroy and earth shoes. With his keen fashion sense intact, Dave has merged his 25 years’ experience as a professional writer, editor and accredited public relations professional into the foundation of a content marketing firm that has found a significant niche in the vast world of marketing options.
With a career focused squarely on the creation of great content, Dave learned about writing on a deadline as a marketing writer at the Tallahassee Democrat; learned to value the discipline as well as the art of good writing as editor of Tallahassee Magazine and learned the power of helping clients tell their story as a senior account manager with RB Oppenheim Associates, an award-winning integrated marketing firm.
As chief content officer at Fiore Communications, Dave serves as the company’s primary writer and gatekeeper for all content created by the firm. As the owner, he also serves as chief marketing strategist, client liaison and team motivator.
Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Florida State University, where he met his wife, Robyn, in the Marching Chiefs. They have been married more than 29 years and have six wonderful children.
Digital Marketing Strategist
Liz Laffitte can’t remember when she fell in love with grammar, but the little boy whose love letter she returned, with corrections marked in red pen, probably can. While she’s not quite as harsh of an editor today, her love of reading, writing and editing has only grown.
Liz graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus in Editing, Writing, and Media. She previously served as an editorial intern for Rowland Publishing where she contributed feature articles and other content for Tallahassee and Emerald Coast magazines.
As a digital marketing strategist for Fiore Communications, Liz helps create, implement and monitor social media marketing, email marketing, website management and organic and paid SEO strategies for our clients
Liz is married and welcomed her first son in November 2016. In her free time, she enjoys teaching herself web development and different programming languages.
Domonique Davis has always loved entertaining others with her stories. Growing up, even her Christmas lists came complete with imaginative tales highlighting the importance of each item.
Domonique graduated from Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She went on to work in the university’s Office of Communications, where she wrote newsletter and magazine articles for the school’s various publications and told exciting 140-character stories as the social media manager.
As a member of the Fiore Communications team, Domonique’s narrative flare will come in handy when writing and editing content for clients.
In her free time, Domonique enjoys guessing the endings to movies and singing—usually off key—for her dog’s enjoyment.
Greg has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in Communication from Gonzaga University, where his graduate thesis focused on the effects of website clutter on brand awareness.
He previously worked as an intern and freelance writer at Southern Gaming and Destinations Magazine, an Account Executive at WBKI in Louisville, Ky. and a Digital Content Producer at WCTV here in Tallahassee, where he wrote for the station’s website and social media, while helping to develop the news team’s digital strategy on the way to winning Florida AP Broadcast awards for Best Website in 2015 and 2016.
When he’s not writing or trying to break the internet with great content, Greg loves hiking and kayaking, photography, binge-watching TV Shows or college basketball with his wife Allie, and playing with their two dogs, Belle and Rockie.
Mandy Schnittker is a lover of the written word, as well as a serial list maker and self-proclaimed information sponge. She loves the teamwork and collaborative strategizing that comes with being part of the Fiore Communications crew.
Mandy’s background includes work in television, public relations, event planning and community relations – for local small business, major corporations (hint: if she’s drinking soda, she will only drink Coca-Cola products), and numerous charitable events and causes benefiting her two children.
Mandy has enjoyed being part of the Tallahassee community for nearly 20 years. You could say she was wooed by the city’s live oaks and canopy roads, the Seminole spirit – and, of course, her husband Dennis.
Anna graduated from Florida State University in 2016 with a degree in communications and an emphasis in public relations. After working at Fiore Communications throughout college and gaining valuable experience, she recently rejoined the team as a full-time staffer.
In case you were wondering, yes, she is Dave’s daughter. You could say content marketing runs in the family.
Content Marketing Intern
Rachel is a junior at Florida State University, where she majors in Digital Media Production with a minor in Film Studies. Rachel is a member of Phi Mu sorority, and her various roles within the organization have allowed her communications skills to shine. While serving as T-shirt Chair, Rachel was introduced to graphic design. But, her role in the video committee is where her real talents lie. She is also a part of Burning Tree Magazine where she tells the stories of important events or landmarks around Tallahassee through photos.
Rachel’s passion for communications came at a young age. One day, her dad asked her “if you like TV so much why don’t you become one,” and Rachel has been exploring the entire field of media and communications ever since. As someone who is defiant against change, the constantly evolving media world is intriguing.
In addition to interning at Fiore Communications, Rachel also volunteers at WFSU as a production assistant. At the end of the day, she unwinds with classic films picking apart the famous one-liners (“You talking to me?”) and the breathtaking production.
Content Marketing Intern
Kuan Ni is from China and has been in the U.S. for two years. Before beginning his education at Florida State University, he didn’t know anything about Tallahassee. In fact, spelling “Tallahassee” correctly even required a bit of practice.
Kuan completed his B.A. at Sichuan University in China and is currently wrapping up his final semester with FSU’s Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program. His previous work experience includes design, video production, PR and research at the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communications and the Center for Global Engagement at FSU. At Fiore Communications, he continues to expand his creativity.
In his free time, Kuan plays badminton and video games. He is also a fan of Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. Before leaving Florida, Kuan would like to visit Universal Studios and enjoy The Wizarding World of Harry Potter one more time.
